Description: Lightning is a 1-year-old, 100 lb Cane Corso who was picked up as a stray by Gladewater Animal Control and later saved by our rescue from the euthanasia list. Lightning has completed two weeks of intensive training with Blackhawk K-9 Texas. She walks well on a leash, knows how to sit and lay down, and is an affectionate, well-mannered girl. The small boo-boo on her lip does not affect her. Lightning has made great progress with her training, but she will need a home that is willing to continue working with her and provide the structure and consistency she has been learning. At 100 pounds, continued training is important to help set her up for success in her new home.
