Description: Lightning is a 1-year-old, 100 lb Cane Corso who was picked up as a stray by Gladewater Animal Control and later saved by our rescue from the euthanasia list. Lightning has completed two weeks of intensive training with Blackhawk K-9 Texas. She walks well on a leash, knows how to sit and lay down, and is an affectionate, well-mannered family dog. The boo-boo on her face is a "cleft lip" and it does not impact her. Lightning has made great progress with her training, but she will need a home that is willing to continue working with her and provide the structure and consistency she has been learning!
