Dogs don't shed tears like humans, but they absolutely feel emotions and can become sad when you're gone. They might whine, mope, or wait by the door - so yes, in their own way, they do miss you!
Welcome to the club! It's totally normal. Just remember - you're helping them find their forever family, and there's always another one waiting for your love and care.
Yes! Dogs can absolutely smile - just not always the same way humans do. Look for a relaxed face, wagging tail, and soft eyes. That's pure puppy joy right there.
They sure do! Dogs experience REM sleep just like humans, which means they likely dream - usually about chasing things, playing, or reliving their day. That little tail wag or paw twitch? Dreamland adventures!
Bring your whole family (including leashed pets, if relevant), treats, and an open heart. We'll guide the introductions and make sure everyone feels comfortable. Dress casual - there might be kisses!
It's adorable - and functional! Dogs may tilt their heads to better hear sounds, understand what you're saying, or see past their snouts. It's part curiosity, part communication, and totally heart-melting.
Great question! Some do it for digestion, others just like the taste. Occasional grass-eating is normal, but if it's excessive or causes vomiting, it's worth checking with your vet.
