Foster Application

I understand that fostering an animal with Pawsitive Place Rescue involves responsibility and commitment.

• I will provide a safe and appropriate environment for the animal.
• I will provide daily care including feeding, exercise, and general supervision.
• I will follow all guidance provided by the rescue regarding care, behavior, and medical needs.
• I will administer basic care such as grooming or medications if instructed.
• I will maintain communication with the rescue regarding the animal’s progress.
• I understand that the animal remains the property of the rescue.
• I understand that the animal may be placed for adoption at any time.
• I am prepared for the emotional aspect of fostering, including eventual adoption placement.
• Hold Harmless and Release of Liability: I acknowledge that animals are unpredictable by nature and may exhibit behaviors that could result in injury or property damage. By adopting an animal from Pawsitive Place Rescue, I assume all risks associated with ownership and care of the animal and agree to release, indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Pawsitive Place Rescue, its officers, directors, volunteers, agents, and representatives from any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, or expenses arising out of or related to my adoption, ownership, possession, care, or control of the animal.

I understand that failure to meet these expectations may result in removal of the animal and/or termination of my foster status.
