Description: Lime is a 2-year-old Terrier mix who weighs 45 lbs, and he is much smaller than he looks! Lime can be a little shy when meeting new people or adjusting to new environments. Once he feels comfortable, you start to see the real Lime. He gets the zoomies in the grass. He rolls onto his back when he’s happy. He proudly carries around fuzzy toys and loves curling up next to his people for couch naps. He rides great in the car, enjoys running trails, sits politely at doors, and thrives when he starts learning a routine. Lime was pulled from Dallas Animal Services, where he was already scheduled to be euthanized. We knew he deserved a second chance, so we stepped in to save him.
Due to spending the majority of his life in the shelter, Lime will need a patient, committed, and experienced family who understands the importance of decompression, routine and structure. He will need a calm home where he can learn to trust, build confidence, and experience true life outside of the shelter.
